Mr. Frank Odhiambo works with Innovations for Poverty Action as a Policy Manager. Frank has over 9 years’ experience in development work across different sectors including tax compliance and micro-finance.
Frank has experience in setting up and testing internal controls; audits and; verification. His key vision for the Sacco is to ensure management’s financial reporting objectives have been met and management practices and procedures initiated by the board safeguard members’ assets and investments.
He is passionate about internal controls and how these controls meet the requirements of the supervisory committee audit. He is keen to ensure that accounting records and financial reports to members accurately reflect operations and results and that the Sacco continues to establish relevant control procedures that safeguard members investments, reduce reporting errors, conflict of interest, self-dealing and fraud. Frank has a Master of Arts Degree in Project Planning and Management and a Diploma in Procurement and Supplies Management from the University of Nairobi.
